The project starts on November 1st, 2023. and will last until June 2024. As part of the project, we will mark dates that draw attention to the appreciation of diversity and the empowerment of people with special needs by designing different activities (International Day of Tolerance, World Day of People with Down Syndrome, International Day of People with Special Needs, World Day awareness about autism....) In our activities, we will insert Braille and speech signs (sign language) and we are going to show some examples of the lives of people with special needs through dramatic or puppet shows, by recording videos, by creating online picture books. We will bring people with special needs into the classroom and talk about their lifestyle and social life. The purpose of the project is to raise student awareness as to the difficulties those people are facing and the ways each one of us can express solidarity and understanding.
